On poorly drained marshy terrain with a stream to the E and a ringfort (TS050-006----) c. 80m to the SW. A roughly semi-circular-shaped mound (overall dims. 10.7m NNE-SSW; 14.7m SE-NW) of burnt material with a central depression (dims. 2.7m SE-NW; 3.1m NNE-SSW; D 0.5m) which was waterlogged at time of inspection indicating a possible trough area. A gap (Wth 2.5m) opens to the SW. The NNE sector of the mound appears to be reduced in height and may have been partially levelled.
