What is recorded here

At the base of a S-facing slope of rising ground in undulating countryside. A large boulder (dims. 1.74m x 1.7m) with three hollow depressions on its surface (dims. 0.4m x 0.3m x 0.1m; 0.3m x 0.25m x 0.5m; 0.47m x 0.44m x 0.2m) which according to Seymour (1917, 39) was removed from a holy well (TS050-019002-), just over 1km to the S, immediately outside the village of Toem. Another bullaun stone (TS050-021----) from this holy well was removed to a garden c. 230m NE of the well. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
