This bullaun stone was removed from a holy well (TS050-019002-) N of Toem village and placed in the front garden of a cottage on the N side of the Cappawhite-Toem road, just outside Toem village (Seymour 1917, 39). Another bullaun stone (TS050-022----) was also removed from the holy well and is located c. 1km N of the well. The bullaun consists of a large boulder (dims. 0.74m x 0.52m x 0.22m) with a single deep central hollow (dims. 0.43m x 0.3m x 0.12m). Since the bullaun was inspected in 2000 the house and garden have been extensively renovated and the bullaun is no longer visible. The present location of the bullaun stone is unknown. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
