On a gentle SW-facing slope of rising grassland in upland area overlooking river valley to S, river drains into the Munster river. Good views from E through S to W. Overgrown oval-shaped slightly raised area (diam. 36m N-S; approx. diam. 45m E-W) defined by a scarp (ext. H 0.5-0.8m) with no evidence of an outer fosse or entrance feature. Monument is very overgrown making detailed examination impossible. Old trees planted in the interior, other monument in good condition. Recent conifer trees planted in field immediately to S, between the monument and the river.
