On a SE-facing slope of rising grassland with good panoramic views from E through S to W in upland region. Nearby moated site (TS049-027----) 400m to the S. Slightly raised circular area (diam. 41m N-S; 38m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (top Wth 1.5m; base Wth 4m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1m) and external fosse (base W) both of which are only visible from SW through W to NW elsewhere the bank has been reduced to a scarp (H 0.2-0.7m) and the fosse has been filled in. No entrance feature visible. Ringfort is well preserved being situated in grassland.
