On top of a low rise of ground in flat countryside with good extensive views in all directions. This enclosure is not visible at ground level. The field boundary to S and W which intersected with the enclosure as indicated on the 2nd (1953) ed. OS 6-inch map is still intact. The monument is not marked on the 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map.
