Secured to the N wall of the chancel of Kilcooly Abbey (TS043-034001-), between the two recesses. A tapering limestone slab (L 1.62m; Wth at top 0.63; T 0.14m) with angled base (Wth 0.15m), chamfered (Wth 0.08m) on all sides except along the base. The decoration is contained within a tapering rectangular panel occupying the upper portion of the slab. It consists of an unusual seven-armed cross with central star-burst motif and stylised fleu-de-lys, all of which, except the two lowermost, join with the border surrounding the panel. Beneath the cross-head is an expanded lozenge on the cross shaft. There is no indication that the slab bore any inscription.
