What is recorded here

On slightly elevated flat pasture with good views in all directions. According to McCormack (1989, 13) a bullaun stone with 3 hollow depressions was located in the centre of a levelled ringfort (TS043-031001-). The ringfort has been levelled since 1989 and the bullaun stone is not visible at ground level. The current location of the bullaun is unknown. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.

The map shows the centre of the officially named townland area, not the monument. The government record does not identify the exact monument point.
