Situated on flat pasture in undulating countryside with the Breagagh River immediately to the SW. A slightly raised circular area (diam. 31m NW-SE) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.2m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1-1.5m) destroyed at E and an outer fosse (Wth 3m; D 0.3m) with no entrance feature visible. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
