What is recorded here

Located in first S transept chapel to S of chancel. Well preserved but worn tapered slab ( L 2m; Top Wth 0.62m ; Base Wth 0.50m) lying on the surface at the base of the the N wall of the S transept chapel of the abbey. The surface is decorated with a seven-armed cross, with fleur-de-lis terminals. The cross-shaft rises from a stepped-base with knop just below cross-head. No inscription visible. 17th century graveslab. Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien. Date of upload: 22 September 2008
