Situated on low-lying flat terrain in pasture with the River Suir c. 50m to the E and a nearby ringfort (TN046-043) to the N. A circular area (diam. 34m) defined by a scarp (H 0.3-0.45m) with no other features visible. The site was indentified on an aerial photograph taken in 1973 (GSIAP, S 584/3). Aerial photograph (GB89.AB.05) shows circular enclosure (TN046-043) defined by a fosse; in close proximity to a circular enclosure located to the south. The above aerial report has been compiled by Dr. G.F. Barrett and supplied to the Archaeological Survey of Ireland.
