What is recorded here

Situated in a slight valley between E and W-facing slopes in undulating countryside. A raised circular area (diam. 25m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1-2m) and a wide flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 5-6m; D 0.5-1.7m) with a well-preserved causewayed entrance (Wth 3m) at E. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
