Situated on a gradual SE-facing slope in undulating pastureland, just off the crest of a hill. Indicated as a circular enclosure on the latest ed. (1952-3) OS 6-inch map and depicted in an area of outcrop on the 1st ed. (1843). The site was levelled c. 20 years ago according to the landowner who remembers the site as consisting of a circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by a bank (H c. 1.5m) and outer fosse. Aerial photograph (GB89.AB.19) shows cropmark of a circular enclosure defined by a fosse. TN041-059 (Concentric Enclosure) is visible in the background.
