Situated on a SE-facing slope of a hill overlooking a valley below, in hilly terrain under pasture. Depicted on the 1st ed. (1843) OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure but not marked on the subsequent 1952-3 ed. A slight rise delimits this roughly circular site (diam. c. 26.7m N-S; 24.5m E-W), the scarp consisting of a very gradual slope (H 1.14m). The interior slopes towards the SW. Although this site has been levelled the size, location and cartographic evidence suggest this was a ringfort.
