Situated on a N-facing slope in an upland area. A circular area (diam. 22m N-S) enclosed by a well-preserved drystone wall (T 1.2m; H 2m) with possible entrance gap (Wth 1.5m) at E. A townland boundary intersects the enclosing wall at W on a NE-SW axis. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
