Situated at the base of the N-facing slope of a small esker in undulating countryside. A fulacht fia discovered during soil stripping, no visible trace prior to excavation. The site consists of a ploughed-out horseshoe-shaped mound (L 8m; Wth 7m; D 0.3m) of burnt material orientated E-W with a square-shaped trough (L 1.5m; Wth 1.5m; D 0.3m) which had been backfilled with fire-cracked stone and charcoal-rich soil. A small chert thumbnail scraper was recovered from the mound material. (Stevens 1998, 171-2)
