What is recorded here

Situated on a low rise of ground in undulating countryside. Listed in the ecclesiastical taxation of the Diocese of Cashel in 1302 (CDI, vol. 5, 284). A rectangular church (TN036-028) built with coursed limestone and sandstone rubble with base-batter in the W gable. The church stands in the centre of a large graveyard containing headstones of eighteenth and nineteenth-century date enclosed by a nineteenth-century stone wall. Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien.
