Situated on a rise of ground with extensive views and nearby church (TN035-030002) and castle (TN035-030005) to the E. A raised circular area (diam. 24.5m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 2-2.5m) mainly reduced to a scarp with a possible causewayed entrance (Wth 3.2m) at E. Evidence of external stone facing of the bank with wall footings protruding from the top of the bank is best visible at E around the entrance feature. A nineteenth-century limekiln is built into the S face of the scarp where part of the interior of the site has been quarried out.
