Situated on a S-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area. A circular area (diam. 30m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.3m; int. H 0.7-1.1m; ext. H 1.7m) and an outer fosse (Wth 3.2m; D 1m) with an entrance gap (Wth 3m) at S.
