Situated on the NW-facing slope of an E-W ridge in an upland area with a nearby burial mound (TN031-074) to the NNE. A raised circular area (diam. NW-SE 22m approx.) enclosed by a bank (Wth 1.5m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.5m) from E through S to W, elsewhere reduced to a scarp with destroyed entrance gap (Wth 2m) at SE. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
