Situated on a SE-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area. A raised circular area (diam. 30m NW-SE) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.5m) mainly reduced to a scarp with traces of a shallow external fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.2m) best visible at W. There is an entrance gap (Wth 3.5m) at E. A field fence intersects the external face of the bank at N on an E-W axis.
