Situated atop high ground in an upland area with nearby barrow group (TN031-024001/002/003)) to S and ringfort (TN031-022) to N. A slightly raised circular area (diam. 11.5m NW-SE; H 0.65m) enclosed by a fosse (Wth 1.7m) and external bank (Wth 2.2m; ext. H 0.8m; int. H 0.6m) with causewayed entrance (Wth 2m) at W. The interior is planted with conifers and is intersected at E by a NW-SE field fence. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
