What is recorded here

A poorly preserved site consisting of a circular area (diam. 32.5m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.2m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1-1.5m) and external fosse (Wth 3m; D 0.4m) both of which are only visible from N through E to S where the bank survives as a field fence. The enclosing features are elsewhere destroyed. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 22 September 2008
