What is recorded here

Situated on a low hillock in undulating pasture. A slightly raised circular platform (diam. 28m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 1.5m) and outer fosse (Wth 4m; D 0.5-1m) with causewayed entrance gap (Wth 3.8m) at E (Stout 1984, 82). The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
