A graveyard clean up scheme in Killea was carried out by FÁS in the late 1990s uncovering two quern stones, several architectural fragments belonging to the medieval church (TN029-006001-) including the head of a single light and twin-light ogee-headed windows (O'Brien 2000, 191-2). A bullaun stone (dims. 0.35m x 0.59m) with a central hollow (diam. 0.3m) was also discovered close to the NE graveyard (TN029-006002-) boundary wall. The present location of this bullaun stone has not been identified.
