Situated on a steep E-facing slope of rising ground in a mountainous area. A recently ploughed-out site described by Stout (1984, 66-7) as a circular area (diam. 20m N-S) enclosed by two earth and stone banks with intervening fosse with possible entrance gap (Wth 3m) at E. Not visible at ground level.
