Situated on an E-facing slope of rising ground in a mountainous area with a stream to the E and ringforts (TN028-043, TN028-042) to the E and SW respectively. A D-shaped area (diam. 22m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1.5m; H 0.6m) with outer fosse visible at W only. No entrance feature visible. Depicted as a square-shaped enclosure on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map.
