Situated just below the summit of a hill on a NE-facing slope, in pasture. Ringforts (TN027-108) and (TN027-109) visible to SSE and SE respectively. Not indicated on either the 1st (1843) or 1904 ed. OS 6-inch maps but identified as a circular cropmark on an aerial photograph taken in 1973 (GSIAP, R 116/117). Not visible at ground level.
