What is recorded here

Situated on the steep SE-facing slope of a hill in pasture. A bivallate ringfort consisting of a circular area (diam. 32.8m N-S; 28.5m E-W) defined by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.1m; int. H 1.64m; ext. H 1.09m), a wide, U-shaped fosse (Wth 4.3m; D 1.34m) and an outer bank (Wth 2.8m; int. H 0.36m; ext. H 0.87m). The interior slopes quite steeply to SE. Entrance gap (Wth 3.9m) in SE quadrant. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
