Situated off the brow of a S-facing slope in pasture. A roughly circular area (diam. 32.8m N-S; 34.4m E-W) defined by a bank (Wth 3m; int. H 0.13m; ext. H 1.2m), a fosse (Wth 3.4m; D 0.15m) and an outer bank (Wth 3.1m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.78m). A field boundary runs close to the N edge of the site on an E-W axis. The interior slopes slightly to the S.
