Located in pastureland on level ground at the base of a W-facing slope with a river to the W. A circular area (diam. 46m N-S) defined by a bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.53m; ext. H 0.11m) and outer fosse (Wth 4.1m; D 0.46m). The bank is particularly clear in the NE quadrant. The W half of the site is hidden by mounds of debris from field boundary clearance. An E-W field boundary which augmentrd the S sector has been levelled in the last year or two.
