Situated on high ground in an upland area with a possible ringfort (TN026-020001) immediately to the W and overlooking a ringfort (TN026-021) to the NE. A small circular flat-topped mound (H 0.5m; base diam. 10m) of earth and stone construction with a trigonometrical station at the summit. Not indicated on any ed. of the OS 6-inch map. Possibly constructed by the Ordnance Surveyors.
