Situated on high ground in an upland area overlooking a river to the E. A low circular platform (diam. 24m approx.) defined by a scarp (H 0.4m) with no evidence of a fosse or entrance feature. The site is covered in dense vegetation making detailed examination impossible. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
