Situated on a SE-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area with a possible ringfort (TN025-002) to the W. The barely discernible outline of a much degraded circular area (diam. 33m N-S) enclosed by a low bank (Wth 2m; ext. H 0.5m max.) which is totally destroyed in places. No visible trace of a fosse. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
