Situated partially on the summit and partially on the SW slope of a N-S ridge in rolling pastureland. A roughly oval enclosure (diam. 35m NW-SE; 31m NE-SW) defined by scarp at W (2.05m H) and an earthen bank at E (Wth 1.6m; 0.3m int. H; 1.45m ext. H) with evidence of stone facing. There is no very wide, obvious entrance like that depicted on Stout's plan (1984, 47). The outer bank depicted on this plan appears to be a concentric earthen and stone field boundary and is separated by a 4m wide flat area from the edge of the ringfort. No visible evidence of an outer fosse. A field wall abuts the site at SSW.
