Situated on a W-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area. A D-shaped area (diam. 21m N-S; 27m E-W) with straight side at S (L 24m) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1.75m; int. H 1.5m; ext. H 1.5m) and outer fosse (Wth 2.5m; D 0.4m) visible at W only. A large entrance gap (Wth 6m) is positioned at W.
