Situated on a SE-facing slope in undulating pastureland. A circular area (diam. 49.2m N-S; 46.8m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 4.2m; int. H 0.46m; max. ext. H 2.5m) and a shallow fosse (Wth 3.9m; D 0.2m). The bank has stone revetment on the external face at N and there is a gap broken through the bank at SSW. Adjacent field boundaries run concentric to the site.
