Situated on flat pasture in an upland area with a ringfort (TN020-089) to the NE. A raised circular area (diam. 33m NE-SW) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2m) which has been mainly reduced to a scarp (H 1.5m) with slight traces of a shallow external fosse. Possible entrance gap (Wth 3.5m) at SE.
