Situated on high ground in an upland area with extensive views and a possible ringfort (TN019-031001) c. 60m to the N. Depicted as a small circular enclosure on 1st ed. (1840) OS 6-inch map. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
