Situated on flat pasture in an upland area with a ringfort (TN019-014001) 45m to the W. An earthfast boulder (dims. 1.38m x 1.1m x 0.3m) with a deep circular depression (diam. 0.37m; D 0.3m) on the surface. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
