Situated on a SE-facing slope in undulating hilly terrain. The field is heavily overgrown with gorse, bracken and brambles and the ground level drops to the SE immediately beyond the NE-SW field boundary E of the site. Not indicated on the 1st (1840) or the 1904 ed. OS 6-inch maps. Stout (1984, 81) describes the site as a slightly hollow oval area (diam. 29m) enclosed by a denuded bank (Wth 6m; H 0.4m) with no visible evidence of an outer fosse or entrance feature. Site not located due to dense cover of vegetation.
