Two buildings are under excavation. Both exhibit the same form of construction in
that they use a slot trench for vertical timbers on the northern (upslope) side and then
have a posthole built southern face. It is not known if the buildings were formally
closed along the posthole side. One building is approximately 7.5m in diameter and
the other is approximately 5m in diameter. One of these buildings contains a
substantial internal hearth - the scorched area from this hearth almost reaches the S
face postholes. On the form of these buildings it is possible the 'C' rings in the
palisade enclosure are also buildings. At least one more circular slot-trench building is visible and another two appear to be solely of posts around a central hearth.
