Situated on a N-facing slope of a hill in undulating pastureland. A circular area (diam. 18.5m N-S; 18m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 1.5m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.75m) and a wide, shallow fosse (Wth 3.4m; D 0.2m) visible only at N. The site is in poor condition and is bisected by an earthen bank with stone facing extending E-W. The bank is overgrown with thorn bushes, particularly on the S side where the bank acts as a field boundary.
