Situated on the NE-facing slope of a hill with a nearby ringfort (TN015-016) immediately to the SW. A roughly circular area defined by a bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 0.25, ext. H 1.3m) and an external fosse (Wth 4m; ext. H 0.6m) which is less visible at E. A road runs NE-SW to the E of the site and in the S sector debris from road widening has been pushed into the fosse. Possible causewayed entrance (Wth 1.5m) in the SW quadrant. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
