Situated on a break in a NW-facing slope, in lush meadow. An irregular enclosure indicated on the 1st ed. (1840) OS 6-inch map and depicted as a roughly circular mound on the 1901-5 ed. Not visible at ground level. The site was inspected in 1958 and described as 'not appearing of any archaeological interest' and being 'mainly composed of rock outcrop' (OPW file, 1958).
