Situated on a break in a NW-facing slope with nearby ringfort (TN014-010001-) 140m to the SW. Depicted as a hachured, tree-covered oval enclosure on the 1st ed. (1840) OS 6-inch map and not indicated on subsequent 1901-5 ed. The present field boundaries do not correspond with those on the OS 6-inch map. Not visible at ground level. Depcited as an antiquity on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map, which was possibly re-used as a tree-ring.
