Situated in undulating pastureland on an E-facing slope. A roughly circular area (diam. 46.1m N-S; 44.2m E-W) sloping to the E enclosed by a denuded bank (Wth 5m; int. H 0.4m) and outer fosse (Wth 1.2m; D 0.5m) which is mostly rubble filled or overgrown and destroyed at E. No entrance feature visible. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
