Situated on low-lying poorly drained land with nearby fulacht fia (TN010-101) to E. Recent burning of trees in this area has obscured any evidence of fulachtaí fia. (Feehan 1987) The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
