Situated on a N-S ridge of rock outcrop in undulating countryside. A large flat-topped cairn of loosely piled stones (H 2.5m; base diam. 11m) with a slight depression on top. Disused limekiln located nearby to the S of the cairn. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary. Vol. 1 - North Tipperary' compiled by Jean Farrelly and Caimin O'Brien (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2002).
