Cloghprior Church ruins stands on a rise of ground in undulating countryside, in the N quadrant of Cloghprior graveyard (TN009-052002-). The church is located inside an irregular-shaped graveyard (dims. 55m N-S) defined by a wall constructed with large limestone boulders of cyclopean appearance at N only - elsewhere the wall has been rebuilt.
The church is located in the centre of a sub-rectangular graveyard (approx. dims. 54m N-S; 49m E-W) which is enclosed by an 18th/19th century wall with entrance gate and stile at SW.
